§ 102. Mr. Bramallasked the Secretary of State for War what steps are being taken to enable the mother of 2629262 Guardsman J. J. Alcott, under sentence of death for murder in Germany, to visit her son; and what financial arrangements will be made in connection with such a visit.
§ Mr. ShinwellTentative arrangements have already been made subject to Guardsman Alcott expressing the wish to see his mother. The Soldiers', Sailors' and Airmen's Families Association are willing to pay Mrs. Alcott's rail and boat fare and the Salvation Army have promised to look after her and accommodate her in Germany.
