§ 107. Mr. Frederic Harrisasked the Economic Secretary to the Treasury whether he will consider withholding the release of frozen Palestinian assets held in this country, until the claims of British companies against the Israeli authorities are settled.
§ Mr. JayThese assets are the sterling balances of Palestine banks, and it will be for consideration in forthcoming negotiations with the Israeli Government to what extent their release should be linked with the settlement of claims against the Israeli Government.
