HC Deb 14 February 1949 vol 461 cc121-2W
95. Brigadier Medlicott

asked the Minister of Supply whether he is aware that veterinary surgeons in Norfolk are finding it difficult to do their work adequately through inability to obtain delivery of new cars; and if he can hold out any hope of improved supplies in the near future.

Mr. G. R. Strauss

There is no intention at present to increase the supply of cars to the home market. The motor industry is, however, prepared to give special consideration to urgent requirements of veterinary surgeons sponsored by the National Veterinary Medical Association.
