About two-thirds of the houses are so extensively damaged as to be incapable of repair, and in addition there are approximately 225 sites on which the houses have been completely demolished.

In addition there are blocks held on lease comprising approximately 850 flats, and two sites leased to the Local Authorities on which 54 prefabricated houses have been erected.
