§ 41. Mr. Molsonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department of what offences the two prisoners who recently escaped from the prison without bars at Leighill had been convicted; and what sentences they were serving.
§ Mr. EdeOne of the prisoners had been convicted of rape and of wounding with intent, and was serving a sentence of four years' penal servitude. The other man's offences were robbery with aggravavation, aggravated assault with intent to rob, and mutiny; his sentence was five years' penal servitude. They are now detained in Bristol prison.
