§ Mr. Wilfred PalingNo. I would not feel justified in recommending to this House a system which would involve a large increase in expenditure both in money and manpower and which would add to the pressure on Post Office counters. The Post Office already provides facilities for saving by means of 6d. and 2s. 6d. saving stamps and listeners can, if they wish, save up the money for their licences in this way.
