§ Mr. AlexanderThe cost to British public funds of maintaining the Military Mission in Greece, including the Naval and Air Force elements, from October, 1945, up to the end of 1948 was about £2,690,000, of which £620,000 was for the year 1948. I regret that in error I gave this last figure in an answer to the hon. Member for West Fife (Mr. Gallacher) on 26th January as £370,000.
