§ Mr. RobensSeparate figures showing the use of imported, as distinct from home produced, petroleum are not available. Private motoring accounts for approximately 10 per cent. by weight and 11 per cent. by value (c.i.f.) of all oil consumed in the United Kingdom. For other civilian road transport, the corresponding figures are 22 per cent. and 23 per cent. respectively.
