§ Mr. BevanPrecise figures of the number of houses built for owner-occupiers are not available. With regard to the number of houses built by private enterprise after the 1914–18 war I would refer my hon. Friend to the answer given to my hon. Friend the Member for Plaistow (Mr. Elwyn Jones) on 25th February and for houses built after the last war to the Housing Return.
