§ 41. Mr. Prittasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what steps he is taking to correct the report officially put before the United Nations Trusteeship Council on 11th March to the effect that Tanganyika is being converted into a fortified base.
§ Mr. Rees-WilliamsThis allegation, which is completely without foundation, has been formally denied in the Trusteeship Council by the United Kingdom Representative. My right hon. Friend considers that no further steps are necessary to correct it.
