Jigs, Moulds and Tools, Ltd., Brighton and Hove, they were not consulted before the Jacobs Manufacturing Company of Hartford, Connecticut, was invited to come over to this country to compete with them; how far C.V.A. has up to now been able to supply this country's needs; and what is the projected output of Jacobs in this country.
§ Mr. G. R. StraussThe Jacobs Manufacturing Company of U.S.A. were not invited by my Department to set up production in this country. The Jacobs chucks will be produced by a British firm under an arrangement made with the U.S. Company, who will have a minority financial interest. It is contrary to normal practice to disclose information about the production of individual firms.
