§ Mr. H. WilsonI cannot at present add to my previous statements about imported supplies in 1949. As regards home production, a recent improvement will enable the stocks held by the newspapers to be built up again. The supply position generally is being kept under careful review with the object of allowing an increase in consumption when circumstances permit.
