Mr. Hastingsasked the Minister of Health why he has decided to discourage local authorities from opening foot clinics seeing that Section 28 (1) of the National Health Service Act, 1946, empowers these authorities to make arrangements for the purpose of the prevention of illness and that chiropody is essentially a preventive service.
