§ 75. Mr. Osborneasked the Minister of HeaIth if he is aware that Doctor G. F. Frank, of Caistor, who recently had to telephone six different authorities in North Lincolnshire to get an ambulance to take a child aged three, who was dangerously ill, to a Grimsby hospital and that there is great dissatisfaction over the ambulance service as evidenced by the correspondence sent to him; and if he will have the service investigated and the former facilities restored to the North Lincolnshire rural areas.
§ Mr. BevanI am aware of this case which occurred soon after the new service started. I have been investigating and better local instructions are now in force. But I know the difficulties and shortages in this area, which I will keep under special review.
