§ Mr. MayhewWhen the most recent level of industry plan, which applies to the bizonal area, was prepared, consideration was given to all the factors affecting the economy of this area, including its dependence on foreign countries and on the other zones of Germany. No case is known to the British occupation authorities of machine tools removed for reparations being irreplaceable because they were made in the Soviet zone.
