§ Mr. MayhewWhen His Majesty's Charge d'Affaires saw the Greek Prime Minister on 31st July, he handed him an Aide-Mémoire to the effect that in the view of His Majesty's Government any encouragement of agitation in favour of the union of Cyprus with Greece would not be in the best interests either of Great Britain or of Greece.
