§ Mr. BelcherIn the eight months ended 31st August, 1948, 87 felling licences were issued for trees in Bedfordshire covering a total volume of 228,000 cubic feet; the figures for the corresponding period in 1947 were 77 licences for 229,000 cubic feet.
