§ Mr. BarnesThis ship has been at anchorage in Cowes Roads since 8th March last while the question of possible future employment for her has been under examination. Various alternatives have been considered but I regret that the results so far have been negative. There are 41 men employed in the ship at a weekly cost in wages of £330. She uses 95 tons of oil fuel per week, costing £600. The total monthly expenditure is £4,300.
