§ Mr. Gammansasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies when the hon. Member for Hornsey may expect a reply to his letter of 11th August about the position regarding newsprint in Jamaica.
Mr. Creech JonesThe hon. Member was told on 13th August that I was considering the matter and would write to him as soon as possible. His letter asked why the Jamaica Government had done certain things, and I shall not be able to tell him until the Governor has answered the letter which I sent to him on this subject.
