§ Mr. StracheyDuring the peak slaughtering periods of the last four years my Department paid for the cold storage of certain unprocessed tripe and 73W offals which were sold to and stored on behalf of Associated Tripe Dressers Ltd., and which otherwise would not have been utilised for human consumption. These arrangements cease each year as soon as the seasonal fall in slaughtering enables tripe dressers to resume the immediate processing of supplies.
