§ Mr. Rees-WilliamsThere have recently been a number of breaches of law and order in connection with industrial disputes between the trade unions associated with the A.K.E.L. party and those associated with their rivals, in which the responsibility for acts of violence seems to be attributable primarily to the former. These have been accompanied by some political tension seen in public speeches and the Press, reflecting the views of all political parties in Cyprus.
