§ 78. Mr. Willisasked the Secretary of State for Scotland for what period allowances under the Local Government Act, 1948, may be claimed retrospectively by members of local authorities in Scotland.
§ Mr. WoodburnMembers of local authorities in Scotland have been entitled to claim allowances for financial loss and, where payable, allowances for travelling and subsistence as from 24th March last when the Local Government Act, 1948. received the Royal Assent.
