GriffithsIn 1947, 48 miners in North Staffordshire were certified as suffering from pneumoconiosis as compared with 61 in 1946 and 99 in 1945; but although these figures show a steady reduction it is too early to draw any conclusions from them. The above figures include cases of silicosis as I regret that separate figures for silicosis are not available.
