§ Mr. MayhewThe hon. Member is no doubt referring to Malayan tin and rubber. The final amounts due have not yet been agreed. Identification of the origin and ownership of the property must of course precede agreement on payment. Identification of the tin is taking time because of the innumerable small lots in which it was discovered and handled. Nearly all the rubber has been identified and negotiations over the price to be paid are now proceeding.
