§ Mr. Parkinasked the Minister of Education how many county development plans he has approved; whether any counties have not yet submitted plans; how many plans upon which he has not announced a decision, were submitted more than a year ago; and what is his decision in the case of the Gloucestershire plan which was submitted more than two years ago.
§ Mr. TomlinsonI have approved three county development plans. Five counties have so far submitted only instalments of their plans or plans in incomplete form. Nine counties of the 49 which submitted their plans more than a year ago have not yet been informed of my views on them. The Gloucestershire development plan is to be discussed informally with the Secretary for Education this week.
