HC Deb 04 November 1948 vol 457 c94W
24. Mr. Harold Davies

asked the Minister of Health if he will help to establish an emergency dental service in Cheadle, Staffs, since a fee of £1 is being asked in some cases for an emergency extraction of a tooth.

Mr. Bevan

I understand that the two dentists practising in Cheadle are both participating in the National Health Service. I am considering whether the procedure for emergency extractions can be simplified. Perhaps my hon. Friend will let me know if he has any other point in mind.
