§ Mr. G. BrownI assume that the hon. Member refers to linseed production for next year, 1949. This I hope will he much above the 1948 figure. No definite acreage targets have been set, but county agricultural executive committees have been asked to encourage farmers to grow as much linseed as possible. Cropping directions will not be used.
