§ 96. Mr. Odeyasked the Minister of Works whether, in view of the inadequate publicity that was given to his original notice, he will extend until the end of the year the period of claim in respect of iron railings removed for purposes of salvage during the war.
§ Mr. KeyNo. My announcement of 14th April was not the first intimation to the public that claims could be made but a final warning that the long period of grace must end on 1st June, and I am satisfied that adequate publicity was given.
