§ 73. Mr. Gammansasked the Minister of Food how much demurrage has been paid during the past 12 months on shipments of grain from the Argentine owing to the delays in loading.
§ Mr. StracheyThe amount of demurrage paid in respect of grain shipments (including wheat offals) owing to delays at loading ports during the year to the 30th September, 1948, is approximately £53,900. During the same period we earned £53,990 in despatch money.
