§ Mr. MayhewThe funds of trade unions in Western Germany have been converted into Deutschemarks at a rate which has been uniformly applied, with- 11W out discrimination, to the monetary holdings of all sections of the German community. The German authorities have been ordered by Military Government to enact, by the end of this year, legislation which will provide inter alia, compensation for special hardship caused by the currency conversion.
