§ Mr. G. Thomasasked the Minister of Education whether he will initiate a national education week in order that a greater interest may be stimulated in the developments taking place in the postwar education service.
§ Mr. TomlinsonI welcome the initiative shown by a number of local education authorities in organising education weeks, but I think that this is an activity which is best left to local enterprise. My Department is ready to provide what assistance it can for any project of this kind.
