§ 87. Mr. Dribergasked the Minister of Food if he has investigated the circumstances, details of which have been sent him, in which Mr. John Simpson, Mr. Cornell Seward, and Mr. Robert Kay, three U.S. citizens serving in the U.S. Navy, were recently refused admission, on racial grounds, to several London hotels; and if he will circulate to these and to all other catering establishments copies of his warning that the pursuit of a policy of racial discrimination will lead to the withdrawal of catering licences.
§ Mr. StracheyI have read the Press report to which my hon. Friend refers. I will investigate the complaint if I can get further information.
