§ Mr. J. FreemanThree Government owned factories were producing magnesium in 1945 and the premises are still Government owned. There is at present no production of new ingot magnesium. Stocks in this country are sufficient to meet demands for some time to come, and if existing capacity were put into production, the cost would be uneconomic in relation to world prices.
