§ Mr. A. HendersonExcept for airmen with less than three months' service, discharge by purchase is a privilege and not a right. Any airman serving on a regular engagement, other than a member of aircrew, may apply for discharge by purchase, but approval may be withheld unless discharge can be granted without detriment to the Service.
