§ Mr. BottomleyI do not agree that there is no overseas market for household goods or clothing, and it is essential that no effort should be spared to export them. The Board of Trade is always prepared to give advice on destinations to manufacturers and merchants seeking openings for their goods and is now discussing with the clothing industry ways of increasing its export trade.
