§ Mr. Hurdasked the Minister of Food the figures for food consumption in the United Kingdom during the 12th months, January to December, 1947, in lbs. per head per annum for the following foodstuffs; dairy products, excluding butter (milk solids); meat (carcase weight); fish, including shellfish, canned, cured and fresh fish (edible weight); poultry, game and rabbits (retail weight); eggs and egg products (fat content); oils and fats (oil content); sugar and syrup (sugar content); potatoes; pulses and nuts; tomatoes; citrus and other fruits (fresh equivalent); vegetables, all types; grain products; and beverages.
