HC Deb 09 March 1948 vol 448 c134W
62. Wing-Commander Hulbert

asked the Minister of Transport the policy of the nationalised transport services in regard to granting special paid leave to employees, who belong to the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, the Territorial Army and the Royal Auxiliary Air Force, to enable them to attend annual cruises and camps; and if he has given directions on this matter.

Mr. Callaghan

My right hon. Friend has given no directions to the British Transport Commission on this matter, but I understand that they are examining existing practice in the undertakings for which they are responsible.
