§ Mr. Greyasked the Minister of Health whether in view of the increase to local authorities in the overall cost of erecting houses both by direct labour and by contract, and the adverse effect upon the economic rent to be charged in consequence, which will seriously affect workers in the lower income groups, he will consider the necessity of immediately upgrading the Government subsidy in respect of housing.
