Some 30 acres have been empoldered, varietal and tractor ploughing trials have been carried out 65W and experiments are being conducted on water control, salinity and cultivation practices. I will send my hon. Friend an extract from the 1947 annual report of the Gambia Department of Agriculture giving the latest information about the station's work.
