1. Mr. Walker-Smith

asked the Minister of Town and Country Planning, now 1st July is to be the Appointed Day, when it is proposed to promulgate the various regulations empowered or required under the Town and Country Planning Act, and, in particular, those with respect to the form and content of development plans, the display of advertisements, to making claims in respect of interests in land depreciated in value by virtue of the Act, to exempting specified operations or uses from the provisions of Part VII of the Act, to applications for the determination of development charge, to the combination in a single document of certain applications, and to prescribing the form of notices.

Mr. Silkin

At various dates from the end of this month onwards.

4. Mr. Walker-Smith

asked the Minister of Town and Country Planning when it is proposed to promulgate the regulations under Section 81 of the Town and Country Planning Act, 1947, in respect of mineral workings.

Regulations are now in draft and will be made as soon as possible after discussion with the bodies concerned.

5. Mr. Walker-Smith

asked the Minister of Town and Country Planning when it is proposed to promulgate the regulations under the Town and Country Planning Act, 1947, dealing with near-ripe land.

There are no regulations prescribed by the Act dealing with this matter.
