§ Mr. KeyThe labour force employed at the end of January, 1948, on the production of the various building materials for which my Department is responsible was as follows:
labour was submitted by my Department and accepted by the Forestry Commission. A considerable proportion of this sum represents the cost of importing and housing the building workers, and of providing roads, sewers and main services at this particularly isolated site.
