asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will make a statement as to the present position of trade negotiations with Denmark and the recent conversations between Mr. Ellis-Rees, Mr. Branses and Mr. Vestbirk.

These negotiations were concluded on the 23rd February. I am circulating in the OFFICIAL REPORT a statement summarising their results which was issued to the Press on Friday evening last.
