§ 94. Mr. Bramallasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he is satisfied that the necessary finance will be available for the Palestine Citrus Board to purchase the packing materials needed to ensure the supply to Britain of the 1948–49 citrus crop.
§ Mr. Rees-WilliamsI am in touch with my right hon. Friend the Minister of Food about the financial provision required to enable the Palestine Citrus Marketing Board to acquire packing materials for that part of the 1948–49 citrus crop which the United Kingdom is likely to require. The United Kingdom Delegation has also been asked to raise with the United Nations Palestine Commission the question of financial assistance through that body.
