§ Mr. G. R. StraussAccording to my information, Mr. Frodsham is associated with the Communist Party in such a way as to raise legitimate doubts about his reliability. I propose to give him the usual notification under the terms of the Prime Minister's statement of 15th March, 1948.180W If Mr. Frodsham claims that he does not come within the scope of the Prime Minister's statement, an opportunity will be given to him to state his case and to appear before the three advisers.
