§ Mr. StracheyNone. Since 1st July, 1947, a total of 28,976 tons of barley has been exported to Eire, all of which was grown in the United Kingdom. The export was made under an arrangement whereby barley is sent to Eire to augment the production of stout for consumption in the United Kingdom.
