Mr. Braddockasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what is the total value of imports of animals for purposes of public entertainment for the years 1944, 1945, 1946 and 1947; and whether, in view of the cruelty involved in the transport, training, and confinement he will consider this import as unnecessary under present conditions and prevent its continuance.
