§ Mr. BarnesThe hire for these vessels is payable monthly and £3,275,000 was the amount paid in hire up to the date of my previous answer. Of this sum approximately £1,600,000 accrued in the period during which the vessels were engaged in carrying timber, and is included in the charge on the Timber Control.
