§ Dr. SummerskillThe answer to the first part of the Question is "None." A private importer desired to import canned horseflesh for human consumption at the end of 1947 but the scheme was not proceeded with when, in response to our request for their views, the Eire Government stated that they did not wish to issue export licences for this product. The rest of the Question, therefore, does not arise.
