§ 56. Mr. Skeffington-Lodgeasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department which counties do not now fully protect the green plover and its eggs all the year round; and whether, owing to the usefulness of this bird, he will request local authorities to observe uniformity by general preservation throughout the British Isles.
§ Mr. EdeThe green plover and its eggs are already protected or are in course of being protected in every county in England and Wales except Herefordshire.
