§ Mr. Hollisasked the Secretary of State for War whether, in view of the monotony of sweets at the N.A.A.F.I., members of His Majesty's Forces will be allowed to draw their sweet rations from public shops.
§ Mr. ShinwellArrangements have been made for officers and other ranks on the lodging list to buy their sweet ration, if they wish, from ordinary shops. It would not, however, be practicable for troops generally to do this. In any case I do not accept the suggestion made in the first part of the Question.
